September 24, 2007 – Former State Representative, Dudley Goodlette, has been named the Finance Chair for Congressman Connie Mack’s re-election campaign.
“Dudley is a time-tested leader in Southwest Florida and a close friend, and I’m honored that he will be working side by side with me as the finance chairman for my 2008 re-election campaign, Mack said in a news release today.
Goodlette, a real estate attorney, is with the law firm of Goodlette, Coleman and Johnson and is the Naples representative for Southern Strategy Group, a national lobbying firm. He served in the state House from 1998-2006.
He has served as president of the Naples Area Chamber of Commerce, president of the Collier County Bar Association and chairman of the Naples Community Development Advisory Board. He has received many awards for community service, including Naples Daily News Citizen of the year and Junior Achievement of Southwest Florida Business Leadership Hall of Fame Laureate.
“Congressman Connie Mack has earned the full support of Southwest Florida and deserves to be re-elected to Congress. I am excited to be working to help raise the funds and support he needs to win,” Goodlette said.
Mack is also holding a roundtable discussion with local realtors at the Realtors Association Education Center in Fort Myers this morning to discuss issues relating to the real estate market.
